    Today, the cameras can reproduce images with resolutions up to 30 Megapixels in IP technology and up to 8 Megapixels in analog technology. It should be noted, however, that the most requested resolutions, except for particular applications and great detail requirements, are in the range between 2.0 and 4.0 Megapixels, both for reasons of bandwidth and storage. The picture shows the portions of the scene taken at different resolutions. Depending on each of the resolutions shown in the photo, you can see the corresponding horizontal and vertical width of the scene taken. For example, if you want to get the same quality of detail of the box corresponding to the 1.0 Megapixels resolution on the entire image, you must use the maximum resolution of 30 Megapixels. The figure represents the currently available megapixel resolutions.

    The ongoing research on international markets has allowed the company to include, in its technological offerings, security cameras for thermographic vision which, in combination with the smart video analysis for high-risk sites protection, enables to achieve a much higher level of reliability and accuracy, compared to conventional systems, even in environments with total absence of light.

This is increasingly present in the video surveillance market for the performances that this technology can offer, such as viewing an event-affected area, a free definition of the areas of interest, simultaneous management of several recognition criteria, i.e. discrimination of people, vehicles and boats, movement direction, crowding, suspicious behavior (Loitering), crossing forbidden areas, fence attack, object left / removed, sabotage, counting, etc.

  • Vehicle License plate reading systems

    The experience gained in the control of territory and traffic has enabled the company to design and build camera units specifically dedicated to the reading of vehicle license plates, even at high speeds and in conditions of total darkness, combined with OCR software for database management.

  • Traffic control

    Applications

    The Smart Traffic Control offers AID (Automatic Incident Detection) solutions for the analysis of the traffic flow which, through video analysis, can process in real-time a series of simultaneous events, such as still vehicle, reverse direction, slow vehicle, level of traffic, pedestrian presence, objects in the roadway, smoke, vehicle counting and classification. Typical applications cover motorways, roads and tunnels, areas in which these technologies have made it possible to significantly increase the level of safety and to optimize emergency response measures.
